Frankenstein Update

Have I mentioned that I hate our car?

Eight hundred and forty dollars.
Argh.
And it won’t be done until Monday.

The air conditioner compressor? thingy needs to be replaced. Apparently we could get one from a junkyard but they don’t usually last very long. Since we don’t want a repeat of this in a few months so it’s getting a new one.
We considered (for about two minutes) not getting the AC fixed. But Brian drives ALL day to different customers all over the county (and beyond). All while wearing a long sleeved shirt and tie. We’re assuming that his customers aren’t going to be excited by the really sweaty guy fixing their IT.

In the meantime our very good friends offered to let us borrow their car. We stopped over and picked it up last night. We’re borrowing it until Sunday night or Monday (depending on the weather Mark could drive their motorcycle into work on Monday). It’s going to be a huge help because Brian is at a far-away customer today and isn’t sure when he’ll be finished and Saturday he’ll be working all day as well. This way Jeffrey and I can still get out of the house if need be.
