Fears and Cheers!

An amazing thing happened last night.

We went to the Little Gym. It was show night. The evil bouncer of doom lay deflated beside the wall, all sinister and evil looking.

At one point a ball rolled toward the evil bouncer of doom. Dada stood on it. Jeffrey cautiously moved toward it. Inching ever closer until… he finally put a hand on it.

He leapt back, holding onto his hand as if it had been burnt. Silently, he looked at his limb turning it over as if amazed that it was still intact.

A few minutes later…

Jeffrey stood near the door containing all the fun toys. The instructor needed him to move so she picked him up and sat him down on top of the evil bouncer of doom. He stood there, panic flaring in his eyes. He took a step and another step before Triumph!

Jeffrey discovered that he can WALK on the insidious bouncer of doom. Success at last.

Of course, it was still deflated. I’m sure we’ll have mass panic once it’s blown up again. But small steps are still steps forward.
