Jeffrey, Easter and More

09 Apr

The weekend was wonderful. My parents came out on Friday and left early this morning. They had lots of time with little boy and he put on a good show for them. He displayed his new ability to be able to sign for milk. It is very cute and darn helpful when you don’t know what he wants. We’re working on more and cookie now.  Daycare is really helpful in this regard because they have lots of hearing impaired students at RIT and really push sign in their classrooms.

For the most part we just laid around the house eating and talking. Brian worked on his homework and Mom and I read books. (I’ve finished 3 so far for April)! I’m pretty impressed by that so far.

Jeffrey got to spend most of the day in pj’s and discovered that chocolate and marshmellows can be very yummy treats. The Easter brigade brought Jeffrey a large basket with much goodies. He got some books, a lot of chocolate and a towel that grows in water. Aunt Bonnie sent him a Ginormous stuffed dog and a beautiful crosstich sampler. He’s really a very lucky little boy. He even made $50.

The other VERY important fact. I made it through this Easter without poisoning my family. Some of you may remember last Easter when I made green bean casserole with rancid onions. It seeped into the flavor of all of our food and ruined the meal; almost making Dad and myself ill. This year no one suffered from any gastrointestinal distress. Lets put that one down in the history books.

Good job on the meal 🙂 It sounds like you have a wonderfully relaxing Easter! And I’m glad Jeffrey loved the candy…I can’t believe how much my kids ate…and most of it was behind my back given to them by their grandparents!
