12 Feb

Okay I’ll admit it, I fall off the face of the Earth on weekends. Sorry for the lapse in posting all. Here is a quick update on last week.

Friday Feb 2: I went to a Passions party. It’s like Tupperware but with sex toys. It was a ton of fun and I had a ball there. I stayed out until almost 2am. It was nice to have a mommy’s night out.

Saturday Feb 3: Brian and I attended the Gates Ambulance Banquet. It was a lot of fun. They had a casino night and we played black jack until about midnight. Liane watched the baby and he spent the night at her house. She drove him back to our house on Sunday morning. We got to sleep in until 9am!! I haven’t done that in a year.

Sunday Feb 4: Superbowl Sunday! Liane brought baby back to the house, we had brunch at the local diner and then went our separate ways. I ran off to play volleyball and then we headed over to Marc and Heidi’s house for the Superbowl.

Week: Argh, I fell victim to the flu. It sucked. Sucked so bad! I stayed home from work for two days and on Wednesday I finally felt alive enough to go to work. Brian was feeling yucky also but the baby seemed to be doing well.

This past weekend: Brian went to school all weekend to work and be productive. I decided that I wanted to go shopping for baby clothes. So I tapped Mary and we drove out to the Waterloo Outlets. We bought so many baby clothes! The boy is stylin’ now. It was great to hang with Mary for awhile, it’s been a long time since we’ve gotten together. Yesterday I hung around the house with Jeffrey and ran out to play volleyball. We played 2 matches and won 4 out of 6 games. Not too bad.

Today started a whole new whirlwind. Stay tuned.

Dear Lord….you are SO surprising me with some of your posts!! I’ve been to three Passions party and had a blast at each one. Given my allergy to cooking and anything associated with it, Pampered Chef or Tupperware parties are a yawn for me šŸ™‚

    Sounds like a busy week/weekend. šŸ™‚

Kelly- My next move it to try out the Niagara outlet near Buffalo. I’ve never tried it out.

Kellie – Glad I’m surprising you. I love all the parties, I buy cooking and tupperware crap even though I don’t cook either.

Linda- Thanks for the new place to look. I do a lot of ebay stuff too. It’s just so easy to buy baby stuff. He’s so adorable.
