Okay. Came home from work last week. Noticed that a fish appeared to be missing from the tank. Where once there were three green tiger barbs, now only two remained.
There was no evidence of foul play so I started to think that maybe we never had three. Perhaps there was always only two.
Then Wednesday I left for work. Before I left, I fed the fish. Little sucker fish was swimming around on the bottom of the tank. He appeared to be annoyed that I turned on the light.
Later that evening. We arrived home late, I went in to turn the light off in the tank. Oh look, sucker fish is on the filter….wait….WTF That’s not sucker fish!
IT was his skeleton. Apparently sometime between 8 am and 8 pm he died. The rest of the fish ate him.
I love watching our fish but this was so disgusting. Guess I know where that tiger barb went now.
reminds me of Nemo…minus the dead fish part.
